Here's ambience in an instant! Place these twinkling stars in floral centerpieces, in water, and even in drinks (they float).

Star Lites from Glimmers are designed to make any dimly lit dining room or ballroom sparkle. Each gold or silver (clear) star measures just under two inches, tip to tip, and contains three randomly flashing white lights. The battery-operated stars have on/off buttons and twinkle for about 12 hours. Attachable 16-inch rods are also available.

Both stars and rods are offered in sets of 12. The stars sell for $27 per set; the rods, $3 per set. The minimum order for each is 4 sets. Glimmers sells other lit-star party décor, too; some of the stars come with replaceable batteries.
