FOOD FOR PARTIES

Classic slow-cooker pot roast

Serves 8 people

Ingredients

2 cans (10.75 oz) of condensed cream of mushroom soup

1 package (1 oz) dry onion soup mix

1-1/4 cups water

1 Tbs. cooking oil

5 lbs. beef pot roast (such as chuck roast)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat, brown roast on all sides and pour off drippings.
  2. In a slow cooker, mix remaining ingredient and add beef. Cook on low setting for 8-9 hours.
  3. Add potatoes and carrots for a complete meal.
