Butter lettuce salad with mandarin oranges and citrus vinaigrette
Spicy cheese and bean dip
Serves 24 people
Ingredients
1/2 cup light sour cream
1 8-oz. package cream cheese, softened
1 15-oz. can black beans, rinsed, well-drained
1 4-oz. can chopped green chiles, well-drained
1/4 cup thick and chunky hot salsa
1/2 8-oz. package Monterey Jack Cheese, shredded
Corn chips or tortilla chips
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine sour cream and cream cheese in small bowl.
- Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until smooth.
- Spread cheese mixture evenly into ungreased 9-inch pie plate.
- Layer with black beans, green chiles and salsa. Sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted. Serve with corn chips.
- *Substitute Cheddar, Habanero Jack or Chipotle Jack Cheese
