We're delighted to introduce you to Kathy Cipriano, of Waipahu, Hawaii, the winner of the Celebrate with Style Father's Day Photo Contest. Kathy is shown, above right, with her three children, Kennie Lee, Preston, and Peter (at Preston's graduation).
Kathy's winning photo, left, was taken at Hawaii's Honoka'a Arena just a few days before Kathy entered the contest.
The Dad shown in Kathy's touching photo is Kathy's cousin, Mark Freitas, who competes in Hawaii's semi-professional rodeo circuit. The girl in the picture is Mark's 9-year-old daughter, Saesha. Kathy says she enjoys attending rodeos in which they compete.
Of this photo, says Kathy, "Mark had just been thrown by a bronco and was dragged. He was really hurt." Then Saesha, who had been competing in many of the girls' rodeo events, fell and hurt herself, too.
"She ran over to her Dad. I just grabbed my camera and was lucky enough to capture that shot," says Kathy, who also did the colorizing of the photo. "I asked Mark's wife, Tootsie, if it was all right to enter the photo in the contest, and she said, 'Sure.'"
Congratulations, Kathy. We hope you continue to enjoy watching Mark and Saesha compete in rodeos in Hawaii. And we hope that Mark wins the "All-Around Cowboy" title, very soon.

Editor's Note: Special Mention
If you were following the voting in our Father's Day Photo Contest, you probably know that the photo that received the highest number of votes was the picture at the left, submitted by Donna Schwartz, of Newark, Delaware.
However, when we contacted Donna to let her know that she had won the contest, Donna was immediately forthcoming in telling us that she had misunderstood the contest guidelines and that Nate, the Dad in the photo, was not actually the father of all of the adorable children in the picture.
Three of the kids are children of their dear friend, Diane, also a member of the group Families of Children from China, and a single Mom who lives in both Michigan and Japan. This photo was taken when Diane and her kids were visiting Donna's family.
Thanks, Donna, for sharing a beautiful picture. And we appreciate your integrity in letting us know the situation, even though you knew it meant not being able to be named the winner.
Very best to you, to Nate, to Diane, and to all of these gorgeous children!
And to everyone who sent in photos—or who hasn't sent pictures yet—don't forget to enter our Halloween "Cutest Trick-or-Treaters" and our "Cutest Holiday Kids" photo contests. Sign up now so you'll be sure to receive special notification!
